Awakening in Oz

“Awakening in Oz” is a one-of-a-kind 3D laser-engraved artwork from Finite by Design, blending the timeless imagery of The Wizard of Oz with the revolutionary ethos of Bitcoin.
A symbolic journey from illusion to truth, this piece represents the awakening of self-sovereignty - the moment one steps beyond the curtain and sees the world for what it truly is.

Crafted from 1/4” thick solid stainless steel, this 6”x6” piece features deep 3D engraving on both sides, each meticulously cut with over 24 hours of continuous laser engraving per side. The result is a stunning tactile surface - intricate, reflective, and rich with layered symbolism.

On the front, Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion, and the Wizard are reimagined as archetypes of the Bitcoin journey: courage, heart, intelligence, and belief. The Scarecrow has been replaced in this interpretation as Bitcoin itself occupies the symbolic space he once held. Traditionally the seeker of intellect and clarity, the Scarecrow’s role is elevated into the Bitcoin emblem within the all-seeing triangle above them, signifying Bitcoin as the new “brain” of the journey a force of insight, independent thought, and awakening beyond illusion.

The reverse side reveals radiant geometric engraving surrounding a tamper-evident hologram, sealing an air-gapped, manually generated private key.
The public Bitcoin address is permanently engraved onto the piece, allowing the new owner to fund it with any BTC amount they choose.

More than a visual statement — this is a functional Bitcoin cold wallet and a physical embodiment of digital sovereignty.
