A dual-sided artifact commemorating the origin of Bitcoin.

This Vaulted Time Capsule is precision laser engraved from a 6" × 6" × 1/8" sheet of raw, industrial-grade stainless steel, designed to preserve Bitcoin’s Genesis Block as a permanent physical record.

Forged from raw stainless steel and precision engraved, this piece deliberately mirrors Bitcoin’s origin-when Satoshi forged the Genesis Block from raw code and first principles.

Front:

The front face is engraved with the raw hexadecimal data of the Bitcoin Genesis Block, faithfully reproducing the first block ever mined. Cut directly into stainless steel, the engraving is permanent, uncoated, and built to endure.

Each piece is individually numbered as part of a strictly limited edition.

Back:

The reverse side completes the artifact with:

• January 3, 2026 — commemorating the 17-year anniversary of the Genesis Block
• Finite by Design (f*D) logo
• Edition numbering
• “Funded by Customer” engraving, identifying this capsule as unfunded at purchase

Each capsule contains a Bitcoin private key that has already been generated and sealed:

• The private key was generated by the artist in a fully air-gapped environment
• The key is sealed under a custom Finite by Design tamper-evident hologram
• A printed QR code allows the customer to view the corresponding public address

To fund the capsule, the customer simply scans the QR code and sends bitcoin to the address.
No key generation or setup is required by the customer.
